League of Legends made an announcement, that could lure players away from Dota 2

Riot Games announced that League of Legends is getting a major update League Next in 2027, which will radically change graphics, gameplay, and the game map.
This was reported on the official X Page.
Planned changes include:
A completely new client, which will transform the gameplay
The main game map Summoner’s Rift will be fully reworked
Updated graphics, and also upgrade of gameplay
Updates to the rune system and match preparation
Changed experience for new players
Many already call League Next a full transition to League of Legends 2. Dota 2 analysts say that the global LoL update could seriously shake Valve’s online MOBA. It is noted that many players did not want to play LoL due to outdated graphics, but with the update the situation can change, and some players will move to the new project
Some in the Dota 2 community hope this announcement will push Dota 2 developers to take action, and the game will also get a global update
