Denis "Larl" Sigityv, the midlaner of
Team Spirit, spoke about a significant change in the team’s playstyle after updating its roster. Now, the team not only feels more confident in the late game but also plays more aggressively and confidently at the beginning of matches.
The esports player shared this insight during an interview at DreamLeague Season 24.
"I think we’ve gotten better at the early game. It’s always important to start matches strong. For example, using portals, playing around mid and runes, and putting more pressure on opponents. In the first group stage, we played more passively, but in the second stage and last series, we tried to act more as a team"
He mentioned that the tournament showed the team the importance of an active early game, which led
Team Spirit to contest runes and frequently move through portals. Larl noted that since the roster adapted its playstyle, the players have become more confident during matches.
The esports player believes these changes will help the new lineup win DreamLeague Season 24.
As a reminder,
Team Spirit manager recently made an unexpected appeal to Valve regarding Kez.
