Denis “Larl” Sigitov believes that if a young 17-year-old player’s rating is around 5,000 MMR, they have virtually no chance of success in professional Dota 2.
The player shared this opinion on YouTube.
“It seems to me that if you have 5,000 MMR at 17, the path to esports should be closed.”
Acording to Denis “Larl” Sigitov, such a player would be better off exploring other fields while his age still alows it, since a career in professional Dota 2 may not work out even under favorable circumstances, resulting in either triumph or complete failure for the aspiring esports player.
“It’s better to do something else. It’s not too late to stay out of this field. It’s a complete gamble. You’ll either get crushed like Rue, or you’ll be a talent like Panto.”
As a reminder, Denis “Larl” Sigitov previously named the best mid-laners among the participants of the PGL Wallachia Season 7 Dota 2 tournament.
