Denis “Larl” Sigitov noted that he is used to being blamed for
Team Spirit losses and believes that in many cases the criticism is deserved, so he takes responsibility and remains calm about it.
The Dota 2 world champion shared this with the DotaNews Telegram channel.
“Well, I just play for fun, the way I can play, and sometimes I play badly, sometimes well, and overall it’s normal to be criticized somewhere, maybe the criticism is justified. It’s fine to play badly, you can carry, you can play worse. Things don’t always go one-to-one, especially in our team, where, basically, a lot depends on synergy. If Spirit *****, then most likely it’s my fault, and I take it all on myself.”
Larl admitted that he enjoys playing but can sometimes be out of form. According to him, he doesn’t get upset about criticism and even considers it deserved in some cases. Moreover, he readily takes the blame for
Team Spirit losses, believing that perhaps he didn’t play well enough to secure a victory for the team.
He explained that in Dota 2, not only individual skill matters but also synergy between players. This is how Larl explained that he is responsible both for the team’s wins and losses — thanks to the interaction between the team members.
It’s worth noting that earlier, Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov admitted that he behaved inappropriately toward teammates in
Team Spirit.
