Damien “kpii” Chok stated that in his first months as coach of
Aurora's Dota 2 team, he plans to lead the team to the top 3 in the upcoming major tournaments.
The new
Aurora coach shared this on YouTube.
"What do I want to see? Of course, I want to see first place. I want victory, but realistically, there are four major tournaments left until the end of the year. I'm aiming for the top 3. Top 3-6 — that's the range."
The goal set by the new coach seems quite realistic, as the previous lineup regularly made it into the top 6 at major tournaments, with the exception of the Esports World Cup and The International 2025, where the results were worse. At DreamLeague Season 26, the team managed to take fourth place, which was the best result for the previous lineup.
Earlier, Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov spoke about the problems of the updated
Aurora lineup.
