Korb3n said when the Dota 2 patch will be released, but also pointed out a problem

Dmitriy «Korb3n» Belov, manager of Team Spirit, said that probably new patch for Dota 2 will come closer to New Year, but the update will not radically change the game, although it will change the meta.

He told this answering questions from viewers on Twitch.

"Patch? Yes, should be New Year. Feels like it was long time needed to release it, long before New Year. You know, I dont care much about patch. Because they wont fix the main thing. Main problems will not be fixed – so the game flow will not change. Well, heroes will be different, thats the plus"

Korb3n emphasized that the gameplay patch should have been released long ago, but he thinks developers will release update only in a month. Nevertheless, the manager stressed that he does not really expect the patch, because it will not solve the fundamental problems of Dota 2.

He did not specify exactly what he meant, but probably referred to what most pro players complain about: long matches, focus on farming and incredible influence of drafts on the game.

At the same time, the manager noted a positive point – finally the meta will change, and new heroes will appear in matches, because current drafts already bored everyone.
