Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov said that he took Kamil “Koma” Biktimirov into the team because he wanted to play with the
Team Spirit streamer due to his experience.
The
Team Spirit manager made this comment on Twitch.
“Koma, don't be offended — it just didn't work out. Let's be honest: he's useless at support, so what? It just didn't work out for him, I don't know. Komych — I thought it would be cool to play with Kamil. He's experienced, he can be a bit annoying, but overall he plays well.”
At the same time, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov stood up for Kamil “Koma” Biktimirov, acknowledging the problems in the support positions.
The
Team Spirit manager also explained why he took Evgeny “Zhenya pro Dotka” Vildyaev into his lineup. Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov took into account not the streamer's rating, but his experience, which goes back to the days of the first Dota.
"Well, I took Zhenya because I thought that the guy has been playing since the first Dota — and it doesn't matter how much MMR he has. He always plays as a support, which means he's a pro support. And I thought: what's the point of recruiting a 4000 support when I can take a 3000 support with huge experience?"
Let us remind you that earlier, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov spoke about the reasons for his team's early exit from BetBoom Streamers Battle 10, praising Rostislav “fn” Lozovoy for his high-quality gameplay.
