Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, Team Spirit manager, admitted that he called Alik “V-Tune” Sparrow to Team Spirit youth squad a couple of times, but he refused - he was waiting for an invitation to the dash-1 team.

About this he told during a stream on Twitch.

“Let's be honest. V-Tune is still playing in VP, so in Liquid he is definitely only as a stand-in. Speaking in general, V-Tune is a normal player. He's got some other issues. He probably doesn't really need much in general. I've had a couple of moments where I called Alik out on the team. Yes, it certainly wasn't a dash 1 team. I called him not to Spirit but to Yellow Submarine, but I can understand why he refused. But if you look at his career, he hasn't played much anywhere”

Korb3n noted that V-Tune is a good player and has the opportunity to prove himself as a stand-in for Team Liquid. However, the manager believes that despite his skills, the pro player has inflated demands: he is waiting for an invitation to a dash-1 team, although he has little serious experience.

“He's waiting for some invitations and so on. I'm sure he has a sufficient number of offers, but he refuses them himself. Apparently he's waiting for an invitation to a dash-1 organization. Maybe not even to a dash-1 in terms of results, but in terms of salaries, bootcamps and stuff like that”

He also noted that V-Tune is probably waiting for an offer from a team with a sufficient financial base that can meet his needs.
