Korb3n noticed a strange issue with Aurora’s roster, which prevents them from qualifying for tournaments

Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov finds it strange that Aurora tries to qualify for tournaments through EEU qualifiers, where they have almost no chances, even though they could easily pass through WEU qualifiers.

Team Spirit manager talked about this during a Twitch stream.

“I just don’t understand one thing, can someone explain to me in a sane way why Aurora is so *****? I’m just trying to figure out how much Aurora doesn’t care about qualifying for a tournament. Even an online tournament. How much they don’t want to stay in Europe”

Korb3n is surprised by the club’s decision, because Aurora has the right to play in WEU qualifiers, where there are four slots, but they don’t use it. According to him the team continues to play in EEU qualifiers, where they have no real chance to win the only slot to the tournament.

“I’ll explain: Aurora literally played the Eastern European qualifier, where BetBoom Team is playing. And in Eastern European qualifiers there is only one slot. What chance did Aurora have to beat BetBoom Team for that one slot, I don’t know. It seems to me that it was very, very low. While in the Western European qualifier there are four slots. Roughly speaking, you can just win there and qualify… well, Aurora would definitely qualify there”

The manager is confident that if the team changed regions, they would qualify for tournaments without any problems, but instead they continue to stay in Eastern Europe, despite the huge competition with BetBoom Team. Korb3n considers this decision strange, and cannot explain such a position.

“And what’s the point: they usually do a bootcamp in Serbia, and those who are there can play Western European qualifiers. So the question is why play qualifiers in Eastern Europe, where there is only one slot and BetBoom Team is there? If Aurora played in the Western qualifier, they would definitely be playing at DreamLeague 28”
