Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov believes that the
Tundra Esports roster should not have played the lower grid final of the PGL Wallachia Season 4 playoffs with Neta “33” Shapira. Although the
Team Spirit manager is not sure that with Zheng “MidOne” Yek Nai the team would have won, but he still considers the return of 33 to be a mistake.
Korb3n shared a relevant opinion on Twitch.
“Don't look at the results of
Tundra Esports at all. There's a man who has gone and then he's come. Why did 33 come back for the last game? I still haven't figured it out. Seriously. Why? You weren't there. MidOne was. We made it to that final day. On his shoulders, you could say, pulled
Tundra Esports almost to the finals. Well, maybe the team wouldn't have won, sure. But it definitely shouldn't have.”
According to Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, it was
Tundra Esports' manager who made the mistake of allowing Neta “33” Shapira to play the final day matches of PGL Wallachia Season 4.
Team Spirit's manager believes that for Zheng “MidOne” Yek Nai, the final matches of the tournament were a good chance to prove himself. Moreover, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov believes that this particular player helped the team through the playoffs thanks to his unique builds.
“If I were the manager of
Tundra Esports, I would tell 33 that his return on the final day of the tournament is not quite right. In my mind, it would have been better if they hadn't changed anything. MidOne played the entire playoffs with
Tundra Esports, let him play in the finals. All the more reason to give him a chance. He was taken out of the dumpster. He was showing a new meta.
Helm Of The Dominator was picking up a
Brewmaster. Everybody was laughing at that, and MidOne was winning. Really went all the way to the playoffs. Well,
Tundra Esports knows better.”
As a reminder,
Tundra Esports coach David “MoonMeander” Tan previously appreciated working with Zheng “MidOne” Yek Naem on PGL Wallachia Season 4.
