Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, manager of
Team Spirit, said that in order to get into the youth squad of his club, you need to have at least 15 thousand MMR, but everything will ultimately depend on the ratio of age and rank in the Dota 2 ladder.
He revealed this during a stream on Twitch, answering questions from viewers.
“How much MMR do you need to get into the Team Spirit Academy, which doesn't exist? There's no Team Spirit acadamy... Depends on what role you're in and how old you are. Let's put it this way: if you're 15, up to top-600 is fine, we'll take it. If you're a 17 year old top-2000, then you need to get a mid, buddy. If you were 15, top-2000, you might want to think about it.
If you're not a lemon, you're not hopeless, there's a chance, but you need to get up. You have to get to at least 1,000. If you enter a thousand, they add you as a friend and watch you. If you're still a 1,000th player by the age of 19, I'm sorry, they lose interest in you”
According to him, if a player at the age of 15 can break into the top 600 ladder, he can expect to be included in
Team Spirit youth roster. However, Korb3n noted that the requirements may be different for older players, as well as depending on the position.
Earlier Korb3n spoke harshly about
Team Spirit unexpected defeat at the tournament.
