Korb3n harshly commented on Team Spirit’s unexpected defeat at the tournament

Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, Team Spirit manager, has stated that he and the squad are extremely upset about their defeat at PGL Wallachia 4. He stated that the players played the match against Team Tidebound very poorly.

He revealed this during a broadcast on Twitch while answering questions from fans.

“It's hard to discuss what happened - we lost. If you can say about Liquid that they didn't draft well, then in the case of Tidebound - they just played terribly. The draft was give or take a meta, they just played poorly. The reason is known, I probably won't say publicly on the stream.

Again, if everything was always clear and known, teams would only grow upwards. Sometimes there are cases, sometimes there are other things, but here I wouldn't expect it. If everything is clear with Team Liquid, then with Tidebound - everything is very sad. They tried their best, but nothing happened, absolutely nothing. They just played badly, that's all, there's nothing to say”

Korb3n noted that in the match against Team Liquid his roster was let down by the draft, and in the case of Team Tidebound, the cyber athletes played terribly, even though they piqued meta heroes. The manager made no secret of the fact that he was extremely unhappy with the result, and noted that the players were also upset with the departure.

He also hinted that there is a reason that he can not talk about publicly, which could have affected the seemingly win-win match for Team Spirit.
