As Team Spirit's manager, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, reveals, NAVI Junior disqualification from ESL One Rally occurred due to a violation of ESL rules prohibiting the abuse of bugs during games. It is his assertion that Team Spirit probably used the bug just once and escaped without punishment as a consequence.

He spoke this during a Twitch stream.

“Dekabristi have been banned I would ask why my position regarding this matter is not equal to The key difference is not about disqualification but abuse - The point is abuse. Abuse is not one or two instances somewhere, it is repeated or constant. Look, honestly it’s overall ambiguous and unexplainable. It's probably written somewhere in the rulebook"

He also recalled that during one tournament, BetBoom Team used bug abuse which attracted a penalty of just time added to their drafting phase. He found this situation ambigious. On the other hand, Korb3n underlined the point that NAVI Junior did not, in fact, violate the rule once or twice; rather, they at different levels abused the bug, which was most likely the source of their disqualification from the tournament to serve as a caution to the remaining competitors in the event.

By his comments, he appeared to point out that Team Spirit and Tundra Esports could escape sanctions by ESL because they did not abuse the bug, but were caught using it in isolated cases.

Previously, spectators noted Denis "Larl" Sigitov employing a bug during qualifiers and demanded that Team Spirit be disqualified.
