Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, the manager of Team Spirit, explained that championship teams will not take in newcomers to avoid unnecessary risks. If a team of Team Spirit caliber brings in an untested rookie and starts losing, questions may arise.

He shared this during a Twitch stream.

"Why only the top 100? When it comes to tier-1 teams, they definitely look into it. No one is going to train someone or put up with a year of waiting for them to blossom"

He noted that theoretically, a strong team could take a player outside the top rankings and train them, but this requires the right conditions, and they can’t take more than one newcomer.

"In theory, you could take one low-ranked player if you have four great, experienced players who are willing to mentor one. But only one; there's no point in taking more"

Additionally, he mentioned that top teams are hesitant to bring in untested players because questions may arise if champions suddenly lose their effectiveness, which the rosters want to avoid.

"There are different types of teams. If it's a championship team, you can't just take a risk with someone; if you don't win, questions will start coming up, and who needs those questions? Nobody needs them"

Previously, Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk made a radical response to offers to join other teams.
