As Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov,
Team Spirit manager, remarked, Alexander “rue” Filin did a great job at FISSURE Playground and underlined how fast he is progressing in the Dota 2 professional scene. But in his words, the player still has some work to do.
While on a Twitch stream, he discussed his views:
"Rue needs time. You can see that he is playing much better compared with before the New Year. This is a normal process. I can’t point towards him as a player who is, in any way, standing out for playing poorly or worse than other teams position fours. He has his signature heroes which is very good. It was super clear that he played Monkey King exceptionally well in this tournament. Time is also of essence. Everyone understood this when we got him to the team. He’s getting there. He has space for more growth and progress which is awesome"
Korb3n highlighted that since Rue joined their squad, he has shown phenomenal performance in the games proving to them that he is a great addition to the team. He justified that Rue is performing at the standard level as other support players in different teams. At the same time, the manager underlined that the esports performer still needs time to develop and as the scout for
Team Spirit, they were already informed that this was the case when they signed him.
The other day,
Team Spirit manager already agreed with the rest of the squad and expressed these frustrations and comments towards issues that directly impact the entire team such as the situation involving Yaroslav Miposhka Naidenov.
