Larl shared what change he’s most looking forward to in the new Dota 2 patch

Denis “Larl” Sigitov would like Valve’s developers to nerf the Lone Druid hero.

The player made this statement on Twitch.

“More than anything, I want them to nerf Lone Druid. At TI, he was overpowered, but in the playoffs, teams weren’t picking him as their first pick anymore, as far as I remember. They saved him for the second stage because people found good counterpicks. But in public matches and at BLAST, you don’t want to face him. You have to play very carefully against him: you need to gank him and shut him down early in the game, but he has a strong laning phase.”

According to Denis “Larl” Sigitov, the hero was practically unbeatable at The International 2026, but as the tournament progressed, teams learned how to counter him. Although Lone Druid can’t be called unbeatable now, the esports player believes he’s still a nuisance to play against.
