Dmitry «Korb3n» Belov revealed that he once played Dota 2 using Magomed «Collapse» Khalilov’s account and literally died within two minutes, then left the match.
The
Team Spirit manager shared the story in a new video on the club’s YouTube channel.
“I remember launching a game for Maga. It was so funny. But I didn’t ruin it for anyone. It was All Pick or Turbo—I don’t remember. I picked Huskar, and the guys were like: ‘This is Collapse! The real one! On Huskar.’ I went, died on FB, thought I shouldn’t embarrass Maga, and left. I just went and died on FB. Before that, everyone was typing: ‘This is Collapse! Maga, say something in voice! We’re playing with Maga, ****.’ And I just died in the second minute”
Korb3n emphasized that he didn’t want to ruin the game for anyone, so he wasn’t in matchmaking but playing Turbo or another mode. According to him, the other players couldn’t believe they were playing with a real Dota 2 world champion.
However, the manager noted that he only played for about two minutes and left the match immediately to avoid harming Collapse’s reputation. It’s worth noting that account sharing is prohibited by Dota 2 rules, but since the game was launched from Collapse’s computer, it likely doesn’t count as a violation.
Recall that earlier, Collapse made headlines for a crude act after
Team Spirit’s victory.
