Gleb “kiyotaka” Zyryanov,
Aurora midranger, after winning the qualifications for The International 2025, said that the team had prepared thoroughly and the players didn't care what to draft - they were confident in winning.
The cyber athlete said in a post-match interview:
“Did I get high? I don't know, to be honest. I told the guys: “Pick whatever you want. I don't care. We were confident of victory. We were preparing for our opponents, watching their draft picks and qualifying games. Studied what they do, what patterns they have. We took qualifying pretty seriously - we got together at the bootcamp, prepared together”
According to the pro player,
Aurora took qualifying for the Dota 2 World Championship as seriously as possible, and the roster had no doubts about their own success. Kiyotaka also noted that he really didn't care which heroes to play - he was sure that the opponents would lose anyway.
As a result,
Aurora defeated Cyber Goose and won a slot at TI14. In the Dota 2 community, many were surprised why
Gaimin Gladiators received a direct invite and not Aurora.
Recall, earlier Korb3n said that he almost fought with TORONTOTOKYO, explaining the reasons for the conflict.
