Ilya “Kiritych” Ulyanov said that he experienced difficulties during the group stage of BLAST Slam IV due to a long break in his career.
The player spoke about this on YouTube.
“So far, we've only played BLAST Slam IV from home. It was tough. First of all, it was hard for me to play because after TI14, people were still more pumped up and more experienced... I don't know how to put it. It was realy hard for me.”
Acording to Ilya “Kiritych” Ulyanov, when he played for
BetBoom Team as a substitute at DreamLeague Season 26, there were a number of strong teams missing from the tournament, and now the player feels that it is very difficult for him to play against some opponents. The esports player noted that he tries to learn from his failures by adapting to the new team, and this approach is already yielding positive results.
"Conditionaly, when I played at DreamLeague Season 26, there was no
Team Spirit, no
Tundra Esports, no
Team Falcons. I join ATF and Cr1t-, I join 33, I join Collapse — the best offlaners in the world, and it's really hard to stand up to them. It's just that somewhere I'm not doing something right, somewhere they're outplaying me. I'm trying to adapt, learn from my mistakes, watch, study what I'm doing wrong, and develop. It was really hard for me at first. Now it's easier. Now I've learned and developed."
Earlier, Danil “gpk” Skutin explained why
BetBoom Team decided to sign Ilya ‘Kiritych’ Ulyanov instead of Andrey “bottega” Kopytko.
