Vladislav “Kataomi‘’ Semenov said that he left the
Cloud9 roster because he did not believe that the team could win tournaments.
The corresponding statement was made by the player in an interview with the organizers of BLAST Slam I.
“I left
Cloud9 because I didn't think that lineup could win tournaments.”
The player also said that the team had a fairly relaxed atmosphere, but some of the players were very nervous, which Vladislav “Kataomi'” Semenov sees as one of the possible reasons for the unsatisfactory result at TI13.
“The atmosphere in
Cloud9 was pretty relaxed. Everything was pretty calm, but some guys were very worried and nervous. That's probably why we couldn't go beyond a certain point at TI13. We had a good team, but I wasn't satisfied with finishing in the top 4/5 at tournaments. I needed something more serious because I wanted to win, so I ended up leaving
Cloud9.”
After The International 2024,
Cloud9 attempted to rebuild their Dota 2 roster, but player signings never materialized. As a result, the roster formed is now showing good results under the
PARIVISION tag.
Recall that earlier Matvey “MieRo`” Vasyunin told us why
BetBoom Team took Vladislav “Kataomi” Semyonov into the team during the mass reshuffles.
