Hector "K1" Antonio Rodriguez, the carry player for
Heroic, admitted that salaries in Peruvian teams are significantly lower compared to foreign clubs.
He made this revelation during a live stream on Twitch.
"I haven't been in a Peruvian organization since 2019, even though I lived there. Salaries are the main difference. For a gringo (foreigner), $3,000 is laughable"
According to his statement, partly for this reason, the player has not been part of Peruvian teams for a long time, despite living there. It's worth noting that in comparison to Western European teams, American teams do indeed lag behind in terms of player salaries. While WEU teams can boast monthly earnings for esports players ranging from $5,000 to $10,000, in NA, this figure rarely exceeds $5,000.
