Jerax spoke about problems despite millions in prize money

Jesse “Jerax” Vainikka, a two-time Dota 2 world champion, said that despite having a millionaire status he still faces the same problems as everyone else, and money doesn’t really solve them

He said this during KheZu podcast on YouTube.

“Even if you won TI twice, earned a lot of money – you still face the same human problems. If you try to hide from them, lie to yourself – you will end up in a trap, it won’t take you anywhere. It won’t help you truly understand who you are. Everything you achieved will become meaningless. Of course money can solve problems, but…”

Jerax did not specify what exact problems he meant, but noted that you can’t run from them and everyone deals with them. According to him money helps, but not all problems can be solved with it

He also said that it’s important to have someone to talk to and discuss things with, which sometimes you can’t buy even with huge prize money from tournaments
