JerAx confessed why he decided to return to Dota 2

Jesse "JerAx" Vainikka, who has won the Dota 2 world championship twice, said that he came back to play alongside Andreas "Cr1t-" Nielsen and Artour "Arteezy" Babaev. He admired both of them more than anyone else.
He was talking on an episode of Thorin's YouTube channel.
"I wanted to play with certain players in that team like Cr1t- and Arteezy. They were really my idols throughout my whole career. I felt like there's something more to it. If I had a chance to play with those guys, I would give pro scene one more shot or whatever. But I still had the competitiveness in me and also liked the fact of playing new position. It was good challenge for myself"
After The International 2018 — where JerAx announced his retirement from Dota as his interest towards the game faded away — the Finn returned for a bit while still being part of Evil Geniuses roster as they played with Cr1t- and Arteezy. However, he played with the team for about six months. After that, the esports player continued to compete on the pro scene for some time before ultimately leaving Dota 2.
Earlier, JerAx revealed the real reason for his departure from Team Liquid.
