Together with the release of a new update for Dota 2, Valve has banned a significant number of smurf accounts. Several well-known esports players have been affected by the ban wave.
Information about the players who received bans was shared on Telegram by Aldar "Jamba" Dzhambinov, the manager of
9 Pandas, and information has started to be posted on Reddit.
It seems that this list will be further updated, as it's likely that not all professional players have confirmed receiving the ban.
