Is Battle Pass not so bad?

Many of us love to look for flaws and criticize. But what if you try to find extremely positive moments? In short, here are some of them:

The new event was already mentioned earlier in the article «Is it worth it to play Aghanim's Labyrinth?» Is there any sense from the event and what people spend their time and energy on - let's talk separately.

Four random rewards per week make completing quests more fun. Rewards range from 250 to 10,000 points, there are about 10 levels. If you are a lucky guy, then it is possible to get a lot more points and, accordingly, free levels.

Cavern Crawl. 100 levels give you 12 culling blades, which means 12 turbo games will give you a full clear. That’s a smart way to both boost Turbo games' population and speed up the process. Use them early to open up more paths within the Cavern and then wait for 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 clears.

You can also go through several tasks with one hero. For example, Windranger is a Female utility hero, and a Caped utility hero. And she herself can be a quest in the Crawl. Winning 2 turbo or 1 normal game with Windranger will clear all 3 paths at once, at least this is how it worked last Cavern Crawl.

The regular Mirana model has four main problems, only two of which can be fixed with cosmetics: her face and her mount. Her voice and the irregular proportions of rider/mount remain. Persona fixes all four.

About proportions – the original Mirana model’s feet almost touch the ground, she is too big for her mount. To make riders look adequate ingame their models need to be much smaller, which is already the case with everyone from Luna and CK to Batrider. This cannot be fixed by equipping a different cosmetic for neither Mirana nor Sagan.

Some were unhappy with her new voice acting and lines, the persona brought a piece of the Dota: Dragon's Blood anime into the game. It's just that many are accustomed to the old Mirana and are not immediately ready to accept all the changes.

With rewards for weekly quests ranging from 250 to 10000 it’s hard to calculate how many levels are “free” you can get on average for the entire time. In the Labyrinth of Aghanim, you can get enough points for pumping, but this will take time and effort. 

And in addition to a Persona, Aghs Labs and Cavern Crawl perks, usual Immortals chests and treasures, wards and a courier, all the taunts, icons and emoticons, you get very cute creep cosmetics. Which is a lot of value for 135 levels.

Lvl 235 doesn’t even feel that important, since it only gives towers cosmetic, which are great, and Persona armor set.

Drow Ranger has a great new arcana, and the crossbow is a cool feature for an archer. The developers really tried to make something that really costs $150. Arcana understandably has slightly higher quality particles, icons, spell animations, etc. And those who are willing to pay will get something that looks cool and is worth the money anyway.

However, it is still a pity that due to the uniqueness, such sets can only be obtained from Battle Pass for such a price. And no matter what positive aspects we would try to look for, users again need to spend a lot of money on what will soon become unavailable.
