Aiden “iNSaNiA” Sarkoi, the former support of Team Liquid, spoke about his teammates after leaving the team, sharing his true feelings about Mike “miCKe” Wu, Michał “Nisha” Jankowski, and Samuel “Boxi” Svahn.

He shared his frank story on the club’s website.

“miCKe is the easiest to describe: he’s like a little brother to me. I feel like I’ve known him since childhood. We played two different games together at the pro level, traveled the world, went through despair after losses when we were supposed to win, and were underdogs who knocked out top teams. Everything you can imagine in esports, we experienced together. This experience really brings people closer. Memories appear that make you want to care about someone, and you just want them to be happy and successful”

According to him, miCKe was the closest player to him, and he even called iNSaNiA his little brother. Their careers started together, and they managed to achieve success side by side.

“I’d include Nisha here too. I’ve known him for less time, but over the years we became very close. I’ve seen him open up: from watching ‘Love Island’ to situations like losing his passport a day before a tournament. He was a close friend during these years and someone I really enjoyed playing with and spending time outside of Dota. Relationships like that become very important”

iNSaNiA admitted that he knew Nisha less than miCKe, but they still supported each other during tough times and had fun, getting into various situations right before Dota 2 tournaments.

“With Boxi, our relationship over the years has been quite interesting. We often had difficult situations because of disagreements, but the most amazing thing is that even being so different, we still supported each other. When he had a hard time, I was there, supporting him and saying I wanted to keep playing together. And he did the same for me in difficult moments. When you argue and are forced to look at yourself critically — you grow. I think in our team we helped each other grow the most”

The world champion specifically mentioned Boxi, noting that although they often had disagreements, they still supported each other and wanted to play together, even if they sometimes criticized each other’s performances.
