INSaNiA shocked with unexpected information about BetBoom Team: player's statement

Aydin "iNSaNiA" Sarkoi, a member from Team Liquid, reportedly said that the organizers of ESL One Birmingham 2024 had warned players explicitly about the use of bugs which would result in losing a map but BetBoom Team still went ahead and used it.

The player shared this while on the All Chat podcast.

"A message was sent to the WhatsApp group in the morning saying ‘if you use this bug you can just lose automatically’. And they do it anyway. I think in these cases an admin should instantly pause the game. There is a crime, there is a punishment — start second map immediately"

Vitaliy “Save-” Melnik used Shadow Demon bug deliberately even though he knew what is going to happen next according to iNSaNiA. But instead of disqualifying them from whole tournament or atleast another series - since organizers decided not only penalize them by limiting draft time on second map.

It's worth noting that earlier, the captain of BetBoom Team seriously violated the rules of ESL One Birmingham 2024, risking disqualification for the team.
