Captain of BetBoom Team seriously violated the rules of ESL One Birmingham 2024: what threatens the team

During the first map against G2.iG "Save" was caught using a bug with Shadow Demon ultimate, Vitaliy Melnyk, the captain of BetBoom Team. The team could have been technically beaten.

Breach of this rule by BetBoom Team has been quickly responded to by ESL who deducted 70 seconds from the draft stage for them on the second map played against G2.iG.

The esports player found a bug in Crownfall and took advantage of it. There he bought Aghanims Shard and leveled up his ultimate to third level at level 12. They called it a severe breach and gave sanction of the second degree; there was even the possibility that they would be punished so strictly as to lose technically.

Nevertheless, BB team still lost the match 2-0 in favour of G2.iG so even if they used bug they did not manage to win at least on the first map.

It is important to note that earlier Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov accused players of BetBoom Team misbehavior during Dota 2 tournament.
