Igor “ILTW” Filatov believes that Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk's success is based not on the constant search for new ideas, but on the repetition of effective actions that lead to victory.
The pro player shared the corresponding opinion on Twitch.
“Do you think that Yatoro is some kind of genius? That he's some robot that's always looking for new gameplay? He's repeating the same working stuff, you know?
Like I used to when I had a very high rank. Same thing. You find an action that you can repeat and it will bring you victory. That's it.”
To prove his point, Igor “ILTW” Filatov cited gym classes, where a beginner initially has a hard time mastering all the exercises, but after that, practicing becomes much easier. In Dota 2, the pro player sees a similar principle, but notes that in this game it is difficult to find effective actions that can lead to victory.
“It's just like in life. You go to the gym - you need to do the right exercises. The first time will be difficult, because you get used to it, and then you just start pumping. It's the same thing in Dota. Just like everywhere else, everything works. It's just that these right actions are very difficult to find.”
