Icefrog, one of the creators of Dota 2, is indeed working on Deadlock, as became evident following the announcement of new heroes for the game.
On social media, users noticed that the announcement of Deadlock’s largest update was published by him on Steam.
If you open the Deadlock community page with discussions and check the additional settings, you can see that it was Icefrog who posted this news. Although there have long been rumors that the Dota 2 community legend was working on Deadlock, this is the first direct proof of his involvement in the game’s development.

It’s worth remembering that Icefrog was the one who helped turn a WarCraft 3 mod into Dota and later led the development of Dota 2 at Valve.
Previously, Deadlock also received a feature that Dota 2 players had been dreaming of.
