Bogdan "Iceberg" Vasilenko said that alcohol ruined his career as a professional player and called on other eSports athletes not to repeat his mistakes.
He said this during a Twitch stream, answering questions from fans.
"Why did you leave pro-Dota? Dota became uninteresting because of booze. I ruined my career... Guys, if anyone wants to become a pro-Dota player, remember: alcohol is the worst enemy. It was only because of alcohol that I did not realize my potential in Dota. Only because of this. Please, if you want to achieve some heights, do not drink alcohol"
Iceberg emphasized that it was alcohol that prevented him from realizing his potential. Moreover, according to him, because of this bad habit, Dota 2 ceased to bring him interest, which ruined his career as a professional player.
He also appealed to other players, especially beginners, not to repeat his path if they want to reach the top of the Dota 2 pro scene.
Recall that Iceberg previously revealed his salary at NAVI and admitted that he earned four times more on streams.
