The bug with
Hand Of Midas has frustrated players so much that some of them have started a real hunt for abusers in Dota 2 matchmaking.
These moments were shared on Reddit, where players showed how they punish gold abusers.
As seen in the footage, a player waits for the right moment to steal or even destroy the opponent's
Hand Of Midas. In the comments, users were thrilled and suggested forming groups of invisible heroes to troll the abusers.
Many were shocked by the sheer number of players trying to abuse gold in Dota 2 matchmaking and demanded that Valve take action to ban all violators. However, the developers have finally fixed this bug, though it took them almost three attempts, as players kept finding new ways to exploit it.
It’s worth noting that not only regular fans were using this gold abuse. Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf was also caught exploiting the bug, and many are calling for him to be punished for violating Dota 2's rules.
