How many bullets each weapon has in Counter-Strike 2 after the reload update

Valve changed the reload system in CS2 now bullets left in the magazine are “lost” if you reload before using them. At the same time, the developers reworked the total ammo reserve for weapons.
Pistols
Overall, most popular pistols received heavy ammo nerfs.
Glock-18 — now 60 (was 120)
USP-S — unchanged, 24
P2000 — unchanged, 52
P250 — buffed to 39
Desert Eagle — reduced to 21
CZ75-Auto — increased to 24
Tec-9 — reduced to 54
Five-Seven — heavily nerfed to 40
Dual Berettas — now 60
R8 Revolver — increased to 16
As a result, meta pistols were weakened, while less popular ones got slight buffs.
Submachine Guns (SMG)
Most SMGs had their ammo reduced, with a few exceptions.
MP5-SD — 90
MP7 — 90
MP9 — only 60
MAC-10 — 90
UMP-45 — 75
PP-Bizon — increased to 128
P90 — unchanged, 100
Most SMGs now run out of ammo faster, except the Bizon.
Assault Rifles
Changes are minor but important.
AK-47 — unchanged, 90
M4A1-S — nerfed to 60
M4A4 — buffed to 120
Galil AR — heavily buffed to 140
FAMAS — slightly buffed to 100
AUG — unchanged, 90
SG 553 — unchanged, 90
In short, M4A1-S was nerfed, while most other rifles were buffed.
Sniper Rifles and Machine Guns
The most significant changes happened here.
AWP — now only 15 bullets
SSG 08 — heavily reduced to 20
SCAR-20 — 40
G3SG1 — 40
Negev — unchanged, 300
M249 — unchanged, 200
It’s now clear that playing with sniper rifles became much harder, as ammo runs out very quickly.
Shotguns
Almost no changes, except one.
MAG-7 — nerfed to 15
Sawed-off — 32 (unchanged)
Nova — 32 (unchanged)
XM1014 — 21 (unchanged)
There are no major changes here, but players will still need to manage ammo more carefully.
