The
Heroic cybersports organization has announced the transfer of David “Parker” Flores to the reserve. The reason was the team's defeat in the decisive qualification match for ESL One Bangkok 2024, the responsibility for which the organization placed on the player.
The corresponding announcement was made on the official page of the cybersports club in X.
“Today we are moving Parker to the bench. The decision comes after an incident during the South American qualification finals where, due to a disagreement regarding strategies, Parker showed a lack of desire to win. This does not agree with the professional standards we hold ourselves to at
Heroic.”
Representatives of the organization said that the club recognizes the talent of David “Parker” Flores, but the team is not ready to accept the player's behavior due to accumulated negative experiences.
Heroic also said that Parker's position will be taken over by Yuma “Yuma” Langlet for the BLAST Slam tournament, and the prospect of transferring the team's past carry is ready to discuss with anyone interested.
“We recognize Parker's tremendous talent and contributions to the team, but this pattern of unprofessional behavior, including but not limited to previous experience, cannot be accepted.
We are open to discussing Parker's transfer if anyone is interested. At the BLAST Slam, Yuma will play for the team as a substitute.”
It should be noted that with David “Parker” Flores at the position of carry, the team was able to win PGL Wallachia Season 2.
Recall, earlier David “Parker” Flores told what causes the greatest difficulties in the career of a pro-player in Dota 2.
