Sergey “Hally” Shavaev said he was satisfied with
Team Spirit's result at the IEM Krakow Counter-Strike 2 tournament, as the team showed significant progress after a problematic performance at BLAST Bounty Winter.
The player made this statement on YouTube.
"I am pleased that we managed to win the match for 3rd place. It's important, no matter what anyone says. Our VRS points and confidence will depend on how we played against Mouz. Plus, it's material that we'll need to work on.
Speaking of the tournament, at BLAST Bounty Winter, which took place in Malta, we faced certain problems within the team related to emotional background. The mental work we did here has paid off."
According to Sergey “Hally” Shavaev,
Team Spirit faced internal problems at BLAST Bounty Winter due to negative emotions. However, the esports player noted that the team saw the positive results of their work at IEM Krakow.
The player also praised the work of Boris “magixx” Vorobyov as captain of
Team Spirit's Counter-Strike 2 roster, but noted that he still needs to gain experience and the team needs to adapt to the current situation on the pro scene.
"It's important to understand that Magixx is doing well as captain, but he needs to gain more captaincy experience. We are still a team with experience, we know how to win and we expect ourselves to win. But if something doesn't go according to plan, we need to adapt to certain situations and act in a way that is beneficial to us. Magixx is doing a great job. The work he has done in a month is a huge breakthrough and progress. I expected it to happen more slowly. But Magixx has integrated into the system we are building faster than I expected."
Earlier, Danil “Donk” Kryshkovets criticized the conditions at BLAST Counter-Strike 2 tournaments.
