Danil “Donk” Kryshkovets said that he does not like the approach of tournament operator BLAST to organizing arenas at Counter-Strike 2 championships.
The player shared this opinion on YouTube.
“I don't like how BLAST makes arenas because of the booths they use. It's like you're playing in a studio LAN. That's the feeling I get. The acoustics are worse because of this. It's better at all championships where there is open seating. But there were several such arenas — at the Major in Shanghai, IEM Cologne, and IEM Katowice.”
According to Danil “Donk” Kryshkovets, the separate booths give players the impression that the team is playing in a studio rather than an arena. The esports player noted that this approach greatly affects the acoustics, and he much prefers open seating for players, even though it is less common.
