Gpk named the main change in BetBoom Team after the coach replacement

Danil “Gpk” Skutin said that after replacing Anatoly ‘Boolk’ Ivanov with Roman “Rmn” Palei as coach of BetBoom Team, the team began to expand the pool of heroes used, trying out new game ideas.

The player talked about this in an interview with eScoreNews.

“He gives us fresh ideas about heroes, since he also plays matchmaking. He sees the draft and says that a certain hero works well. We're not stuck in a box — we can take a hero and see what happens.”

According to Danil “Gpk” Skutin, the team was satisfied with the results of Anatoly “Boolk” Ivanov's work, as the lineup regularly placed well in tournaments, but BetBoom Team decided to work with a new coach due to their desire to change the direction of the team's development.

“With Boolk, we achieved good results and won tournaments, and we could have continued working together, but we decided to take the team in a different direction. We brought in a new player and coach, and we will be building everything differently.”

The player also admitted that someone from his circle in the team suggested inviting Clement “Puppey” Ivanov to be the coach, but noted that this idea was not seriously considered.
