Gaimin Gladiators midlaner, Quinn «Quinn» Callahan, in a post-match interview after defeating BetBoom Team in the Riyadh Masters 2023 playoffs, spoke about how he and his team felt being one step away from the tournament.
Quinn:
Since TUNDRA I think we've had a mentality shift. And it also feels like we should have lost against TUNDRA, so now we're just like: "hey, we get to, we got an extra life, we got some one in a million miracles". So, we're kind of just appreciating that and just playing. I honestly felt literally zero pressure after we lost game 1. I think everyone else felt the same. We just messed up some stuff. We go next. To all the people who said we're gonna bomb out, get last: s**k it.

On the first map of the series against Gladiators, Quest players were disconnected from the server right during a fight at the enemy base. Despite Quest Esports protesting after the game, Gamers8 Esports denied their request to replay the match.
