Gaimin Gladiators were eliminated from the tournament, but they will play at Riyadh Masters 2024 thanks to Team Falcons

Even though they were eliminated in the group stage of ESL One Birmingham 2024, the Gaimin Gladiators secured a spot at Riyadh Masters 2024, which to the Dota 2 community’s great surprise can be attributed to Team Falcons winning this tournament.

Commentator Vladimir 'Maelstorm' Kuzminov brought up this fact on his Telegram channel.

For many people that was unexpected because after Gaimin Gladiators were knocked out from ESL One Birmingham 2024 at that point they have not played official matches for several days. But it happened thanks to the victory of Team Falcons who managed to beat Team Liquid thereby decreasing necessary amount of points for direct invite to Riyadh Masters 2024.

It should be mentioned that if BetBoom Team and Xtreme Gaming continue gaining points together with Team Falcons then even Team Spirit has a chance for invitation at one of biggest Dota 2 championships.

We would like to remind you that earlier three teams already received spot due their EPT points level being enough for them participate in Riyadh Masters 2024.
