Felipe "Astini" Astini, coach of Parivision, shared insider information that Gaimin Gladiators allegedly offered a transfer for Alimzhan "Watson" Islambekov even before the start of The International 2024.

He mentioned this during a Twitch stream.

Considering Astini's statement, it can be concluded that Anton "Dyrachyo" Shkredov was planned to be replaced even before the World Championship. This may indicate that the star player was set to be removed from the roster regardless of the team's performance at TI13. However, it’s possible that if the team had won the tournament, Dyrachyo could have remained on the roster.

Nonetheless, it remains unclear what prompted the club to make such an unexpected decision, given that Gaimin Gladiators won the Riyadh Masters 2024.
