Gaimin Gladiators captain says everything he thinks about replacing Dyrachyo

Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp stated that he along with Erik “Tofu” Engel and Marcus “Ace” Helgard create the core of the Gaimin Gladiators roster, which is why these players were largely responsible for the decision to replace Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov.

The player shared the relevant opinion in an interview with Cyber.sports.

“We felt that we wanted to change something globally. Our lineup is built around Tofu, Ace and me. We're kind of creating a nucleus. So we decide and think about what we want to change. First of all, we've been thinking about whether we can keep playing together. Also thinking about what we want to change about the style of play and everything. So we felt this was the way out.”

The Gaimin Gladiators captain also stated that the issue of a replacement in the lineup had been brewing for quite some time, and the loss in the grand finals of The International 2024 only pushed the team to the final decision.

Speaking about the relationships in the team after the replacement, Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp said that Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov joined the team well, and also showed a good game, despite the differences from the previous carry.
