Eric 'tOfu' Angel stated that his squad took some time off after the last DreamLeague season, and now the team is actively dealing with the new patch. The cybersportsman stated that he is in high spirits due to the expectations from Riyadh Masters 2024.
The corresponding comment was made by the
Gaimin Gladiators' support staff in an interview with Metaratings.
"To be honest, we haven't had a scrimmage on the new patch yet. We took a break right after DreamLeague. It's been a long and uneventful season for us, but I'm in very high spirits about what's ahead of us now. We're warming up, trying things out in pubs and starting bootcamp just before Riyadh Masters 2024. The variety of playable heroes and uncharted builds is great. I have already accumulated a lot of ideas."
The Riyadh Masters 2024 tournament will run from July 4 to July 21. During the championship, 20 teams will play for a prize pool of $5 million dollars.
At the last DreamLeague tournament,
Gaimin Gladiators managed to reach the grand finals, where they lost to
Team Falcons with a score of 3:0.
Earlier, captain Melchior 'Seleri' Hillenkamp announced that he had scored 12,000 MMR points two years after breaking the eleven thousand mark.
