Gaimin Gladiators made a splash in the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 finals

Gaimin Gladiators swiftly took down Azure Ray in the first map of the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 playoffs finals. It took GG only 28 minutes to defeat the Chinese team, sparking waves of admiration from Dota 2 viewers and analysts.

Anton "dyrachyo" Shkredov's team showcased an incredible level of play and dominated almost the entire map, forcing the opponent into a desperate defense at their base. Moreover, Gaimin Gladiators managed to take down Roshan, who became stronger in the new 7.35 patch for Dota 2.

The outcome of the showdown was quite predictable, considering that GG was considered the tournament favorite after their successful performance at The International 2023. Especially since dyrachyo has personal history with Azure Ray, following the controversies at TI12.
