The information has emerged that
Gaimin Gladiators have, quite curiously, also cut off all their contracts with players, as well as the head coach by disbanding their CS2 roster.
HLTV as citing its sources reported this information.
The organization with
Gaimin Gladiators was largely known because of its overwhelming Dota 2 team that managed to win Riyadh Masters 2024, but in April 2024, Gaimin Gladiators made a decision to sign the roster of ECSTATIC and made their intention to re-enter and compete in professional CS2. Despite this, the insiders have claimed that the team didn’t manage to yield the much-anticipated results with superstars Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi and Fredrik "roeJ" Jorgensen as well.
Since May, the roster has finished second-to-last in ranking not exceeding 30th host. They were unable to win a single match at two events namely, MESA Nomadic Masters Spring and the XSE Pro League, during the nomadic league.
It must be noted that
Gaimin Gladiators did not make an official post but there is still some speculation in the community that nicoodoz was not a
Gaimin Gladiators member anymore. On his X (Twitter) page the player confirmed that he is a free agent and any team can contact him for signing.
Gaimin Gladiators CS2 Team:
Jonas "Queenix" Dideriksen
Magnus "Nodios" Olsen
Tobias "kraghen" Kragh Jensen
Fredrik "roeJ" Jorgensen
Peter "casle" Arenskjold (coach)
Also, it is to be mentioned that Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov has also disclosed the identity of the player who turned
Gaimin Gladiators into a Tier-1 team, and this was not Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov.
