G2.iG captain assessed the state of Chinese Dota 2 lineups

Jian 'xNova' Wei Yap believes that the results of tournaments such as ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 and the Elite League are the reason for the return of the Chinese pro Dota 2 scene.

The G2.iG captain made the corresponding statement in a post-match interview during the broadcast of the ESL One Birmingham 2024 tournament on Twitch.

"The Chinese scene is back. ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 and Elite League proved it."

G2.iG are currently playing in Group A at the ESL One Birmingham 2024 tournament. Based on the results of the first day of the tournament, the team had the best result of their group. G2.iG were able to beat BetBoom Team and drew with Team Liquid. While Xtreme Gaming, who won the Elite League a week ago, show the worst result of Group B with two defeats.
