Mareks “Yekindar” Gaļinskis admitted that he is happy to see so many fans, but the players don’t always have the chance to come outside because of jet lag, since the flight from the USA to Kazakhstan is very hard for them.
The esports player posted this message in his Telegram channel.
“Since 7 in the morning there are already fans near the hotel. Unfortunately, it’s not always possible to come out. But I’m really happy to see everyone, thank you so much.
Good feelings before the tournament, great vibes. But I don’t know if that’s what everything depends on. So come watch us. Tomorrow we have a game against Monte. They can’t be underestimated.
Also everyone in the team is basically dying from crazy jet lag, because there’s a 10-hour difference between America and Kazakhstan. Everyone wakes up at 6-7 AM, sleeps for 5 hours, some even less. It’s horrible. Of course after 6 PM everyone is completely dead inside. But we need to wake up properly because our match is at 7 PM. So hopefully tomorrow it’ll be easier.”
Yekindar noted that FURIA are very happy to see such active fans, but also reminded everyone about the 10-hour time difference the players had to go through. Nevertheless, he hopes the roster will soon adapt and be able to meet CS2 fans at the tournament more often.
