Frostivus 2024 in Dota 2: How to earn rewards from the holiday event

The Dota 2 Frostivus event, one of their best features, has started and with it, players will be able to redeem unique items for the holiday season such as skins. A new feature was added this year and it is called the Forge and it allows players to create skins.

Cryptic has stated that there is a new feature where players will be able to redeem Amour skins called the Frostivus Forge which they compare to the Candy Shop that used to exist in earlier versions of the game. Players will be able to redeem their skins by gathering the required amount of battle pass items.

Players will be able to gather these materials by taking part in events or simply battling out in matches.

How to Obtain Crafting Materials

A lot of people have been asking how can they gather batle pass skins and for that there are events that players can be a part of to enhance their chances at obtaining those materials.

Here are some of the events players can try:

• Performing a snowball while defeating your foe.

• Kicking a hat off your opponent.

• Throwing a high five at an ally/enemy.

Players are advised to keep an eye out for the clues as they are directly related to crafting rewards at the forge. As for rarer items which require more resources, players need to build simpler curios first therefore setting up a plan and deciding which items you want to build first makes sense.

Frostivus Forge Rewards

The Frostivus Forge is a treasure house of different goodies and each of these items is classified on a different cosmatic value scale. Not as limited as voices, but players can also receive skin for Terrorblade the hero, new courier, and also sprays.

• Wandering drunk mage courier on a reindeer – A different genre of a courier that is wearing a festive outfit and also mounts on a donkey.

These and other rewards can be brought together and crafted by doing various festivities together with others. It is important to keep in mind that it could take a lot of time to farm these items so it is advisable to first buy the most arduous rewards and then get to the easier rewards.
