Artyom 'Fng' Barshak doesn't consider himself a fan of auras in Dota 2 because, according to the player, they don't fully reveal a player's skill. Nevertheless, the pro-player believes that any meta could find its flaws.
The cybersportsman shared the relevant opinion with the viewers of a private Twitch broadcast.
“If we talk about auras, what kinda pisses me off about auras is that there's not a lot of skilling in them just. You click, you're unkillable. In that respect, yeah, I'm not a big fan of auras. But just the very fact that “here, there are auras” - yes every patch there was something. There were Necracs, Houses, there was the illusionist patch. You can always find something to whine about. In general, always.”
The pro-player also noted that in every patch there was something stronger than everything else, moreover, Artyom 'Fng' Barshak doesn't see anything wrong with it, as someone always beats someone else, which is the essence of the game.
“You have to be aware of it, no matter what the meta is, no matter what the patch is - there will always be something that will be stronger than the other. That's the way games work, where one player beats the other. There will always be something that is 1%, 2%, 10% better than something else. Well, if we exclude the skill factor for now.”
Artyom 'Fng' Barshak is currently streaming and is in search of a new team to continue his career as a professional player after leaving his position as captain of the
Virtus.pro roster.
