Virtus.pro ex-captain Artyom “Fng” Barshak gets quite perplexed by the fact that
Team Spirit decided to put together a new roster, yet paper and their game cannot be any more different than before – which negates the purpose of a reshuffle.
The esports player talked about the situation on stream on Twitch.
"If Spirit is going to play in the same style as their previous roster, then why make any changes? I hope they will change their style a bit. I can understand similar drafts, but they are doing roughly the same thing. It's surprising to me"
He elaborated further on
Team Spirit defeat at the hands of BandaNoone, a team set up by Vladimir “No [o] ne ” Mineko which was quite unexpected.
Fng added that although it is reasonable to stick to such rough drafts due to the nature of the meta, every aspect of a new player’s playstyle being virtually identical, seems a little too strange. He reasons that the team has to make changes to their game if they want to be successful at the professional scene as opposed to sticking to the old techniques.
Notably, Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk previously commented very candidly on the new
Team Spirit Dota 2 roster and its prospects on the professional scene at Dota 2.
