Fng spoke out about Virtus.pro's defeats

Artem “Fng” Barshak said that there are many reasons for the failures of Virtus.pro's past Dota 2 roster, where he served as captain. However, all of these reasons boil down to the level of preparation of the team members.

The corresponding statement was made by the pro player on Twitch.

“If I had the opportunity to give you a reason why you wouldn't ask these questions, I would have said it already. But the problem is that there are so many reasons, and all of those reasons can be summarized under one word: Skill. That's probably why you keep asking these questions.”

The former Virtus.pro squad captain also admitted that the team didn't put enough effort into fixing the problems. According to Artem “Fng” Barshak, the team spent time inefficiently during the preparation process, which caused them to keep losing tournaments.

“Well, what went wrong? We played badly. Why did we play badly? Because the players are bad. Why didn't we get better? Because we're playing badly. Of course, there's a bunch of side reasons. Like bad, inefficient time spent somewhere. Why? Because we thought it was good and it turned out to be bad. That sort of thing.

It's not the kind of answer I think people expect either. But it's really the kind of answer that's out there. What do we do if we sit at a bootcamp practicing for two or three weeks and then we come in and lose? That's just the way we are, bad. There's nothing to be done. We can not become better, lol.”

Recall that earlier Artem “fng” Barshak compared the gameplay of Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko in Tundra Esports and BetBoom Team.
